Techie Camp is a full day, week long program designed to engage elementary and middle school students in hands-on, interactive STEM-related activities. Students take a deep dive into subject matter focused on Robotics, Programming, Android App or Web Development and emerge with skills that are useful in today’s' classroom and tomorrow's workplace.
"My son says Techie Camp was the best week of his life! And since we just brought him back from a week of Universal, Disney World and Sea World this says a lot!" – Techie Camp Parent
"As a volunteer it meant so much to me and my colleagues to watch these kids light up with enthusiasm. The end of each weekly session came much too soon for both students and volunteers. We loved the experience so much that we look to double the number of students and volunteers that work with the TECHie Club program in the coming school year." – TECH CORPS Volunteer

"Our investment in TECH CORPS is really an investment in the bright and talented youth in Franklin County. Working in tandem with TECH CORPS, our youth will be better prepared to pursue exciting careers in the field of technology." - Marilyn Brown, County Commissioner
Story: Breanna amazed the volunteers with how quickly she picked up on HTML and successfully completed the exercise. Once she completed her work, she proactively got up and walked around helping her peers (including some of the older kids) to ensure they understood the topic. Her grasp of the topic and initiative she took to lead and mentor her peers without being asked was fantastic!
Techie Club includes 40+ hours of hands-on, interactive activities tied directly to national technology standards for 3rd – 6th grade students.
TECH CORPS programs educate, excite and empower students with technology.
